Caroline has been on his tail all the way across the country. Today he caught her snooping in his house. When he figured out she was a private detective who has gathered all kind of incriminating evidence against him, he needed to make sure she disappeared long enough for him to get away. But the man decided he really had no time and needed to get away before Caroline's back up arrived.
